This MTB speed measure favors setups that roll efficiently without sacrificing too much traction. In day-to-day use, it's more about stability and usefulness than feeling fast. The setup that matters most here is wide, grippy tires that trade speed for traction and a solid drivetrain that supports efficient riding. This is why two bikes with the same rider can feel noticeably different at the same speed.

On steep roads, it comes in at 6.6/10. Within e-mountain bikes, it sits above average. It’s set up for steady spinning on climbs. That lowest gear comes out around 18.4 gear inches. In its peer group, it lands around the easier ~49% for low-gear climbing. We use “gear inches” as a shortcut for climbing gearing. Lower numbers mean you can spin more easily when it gets steep. Full suspension means both ends can absorb impacts, helping the wheels track rough ground more consistently. This is maximum composure territory: traction and control are the goal. This level is meant for the most demanding roughness, staying stable through repeated big impacts.
